Holiday Dinner Treat Recipe For Your Dog

Holiday Dinner Treat Recipe For Your Dog

Can you think of a better way to spend your holiday baking tradition than including your dog in the festivities? We can’t, and that’s why we include our organic dog cookies as part of our yearly ritual.

We firmly believe that every treat is loaded with real, wholesome ingredients. Naturally, you can use any flour you choose, but we only bake wheat-, corn- and soy-free (the most common allergens and fillers in commercial products). We know our dogs love treats and could care less if the ingredients make them itchy or their tummy upset. But we care!

What Are Some of the Ingredients We Use?

  • All natural peanut butter
  • Organic eggs
  • Chemical free meat
  • Natural honey
  • Pure maple syrup

Making and baking dog treats is not rocket science. Things can easily be added, omitted or exchanged depending on what you have available in your pantry or fridge. Are you out of eggs? Substitute a banana or 3 tablespoons of applesauce instead. If you decide to swap out the flour in these recipes, use the same amount of total flour that the recipe states.

Most of all, enjoy making the treats — your dog will love them and you!

Here’s a little recipe for you to try out:

Holiday Dinner Treats

Gluten Free Low-Calorie Yumminess
2 slice of turkey (white meat)
1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 egg
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Add 2 1/2 cups flour – I mix half brown rice and gluten-free oat flour
Roll out the dough and use cookie cutter of choice
Bake 350 for 25 minutes

Happy Holidays!
